It was announced this month that Timberland and Vans are partnering up to curate their first-ever shoe collaboration. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Vans Skateboarding Half-Cabs, the two renowned footwear brands collaborated to create the Vans Skateboarding x Timberland Half Cab Hiker, a hybrid shoe-boot.

Main Collaboration Features
As part of the Timberland x Vans collaboration, the Vans Skateboarding x Timberland Half Cab Hiker was curated with a choice between brown and light brown. The Half Cab Hiker features nuances from each corresponding shoe – the Vans Skate Half Cab and Timberland’s Euro Hiker. Features of the new Half Cab Hiker include the notable Vans canvas fused with Timberland’s durable premium leather, with the Vans Half Cab upper and rubber lug outsole as the main design features.
Also available from the Timberland x Vans collaboration is a version of Timberland’s premium 6-inch boot re-envisioned by Vans. The re-envisioned black boot, made of premium leather, features detailing of the iconic Vans checker design in black and grey, a lace-up design, and a waterproof design. The durable boot also includes a padded collar and a protective rubber rand.
Sustainability
The shoes curated for this collaboration feature ReBOTL™ fabric as the shoe lining, which is made with 50% recycled plastic. The ReBOTL™ fabric is environmentally friendly, as it creates material from recycled non-biodegradable plastic and uses it within products to be more environmentally conscious.
